| Prometi a minha companheira de viagem, Claudia N. Martins que faríamos mil fotos nessa nossa viagem. A luz da primavera, os lugares, o florescer das cerejeiras, a companhia de Claudia, era tão motivante que, esgotado o primeiro cartucho, com mil fotografias, passei ao reserva continuando os “clicks” em cada passagem. | ||||||
| I promised to my traveling partner, Claudia N. Martins that we’ll take a thousand pictures during our trip. The light of spring, the places, the cherry blossom, the company of Claudia, who was so motivating, make me spent the first memory card with a thousand photos, So I used another one to continue the "clicks" on each pass. | ||||||
| Chegamos ao Brasil, no dia treze de abril de 2009 e notamos que o cartucho inicial fora extraviado. Ele esteve guardado com Claudia até tomarmos o avião de NY para o Rio. Restaram as seiscentas fotografias que registram o final da viagem: o ultimo dia em Quioto, o transito pelo aeroporto de Narita, em Tóquio, e JFK, em Nova York. | We come to Brazil on April 13, 2009 and noticed that the original memory card was mislaid. It was saved with Claudia until we take the plane from NY to Rio. That left the six hundred photographs that record the end of the trip: the last day in Kyoto, the traffic at Narita Airport in Tokyo, and JFK in New York. | |||||
